Q: How and when did the Lovemakers form? A: In the summer of 2002, Scott was working at a record store called Saturn Records in Rockridge, a neighborhood in north Oakland where all three of the original members of the Lovemakers lived. Lisa was dating his manager at the time until Scott, using a rock band as a classic ploy, promptly stole her. Hello nation. We are nearing completion of a 5 song/5 video album entitled Misery Loves Company that will be coming out in the spring on Fuzz. Our plan is to release a 5 song 5 video album every 6 months or so. Scott and I wrote and recorded these songs over the past year and even ended up using one of these "demo" on the album.
